AdvizorPro's data was featured in September 2026 by Financial Advisor magazine, American Banker, InvestmentNews and Wealth Solutions Report in coverage of advisor movement, workforce makeup and RIA M&A. For the latest monthly figures, see AdvizorPro's Advisor Moves report.
Where Commonwealth Advisors Went
Financial Advisor magazine reported that data by AdvizorPro shows that in 2025, 80% of the Commonwealth advisors who moved now call one of seven firms home: Raymond James, Kestra Financial, Cambridge Investment Research, Cetera, Ameriprise, Osaic and &Partners. For more on the deal, see AdvizorPro's advisor and RIA movement in 2026 post.
Osaic Departures
American Banker, in an article also published by Financial Planning, reported that the number of advisors and other registered representatives who left Osaic rose 73% from 2021 to 2025, when its Journey to One integration ended. According to registration data compiled by AdvizorPro, 1,153 registered representatives left Osaic in 2025. LPL Financial was the biggest destination, picking up 322 former Osaic reps in 2025 and 652 in 2024. The article noted that the counts may include some non-advisory staff despite AdvizorPro's filter.
Women Advisors by Channel
InvestmentNews cited AdvizorPro research released earlier in 2026 showing that women make up 26% of practicing financial advisors. By channel, female representation is approximately 31% at broker-dealers, 30.6% at wirehouses, approximately 25% among hybrid advisors, and roughly 18% to 20% at RIAs. The article also covered the Women Advisor Summit on November 5 in New York City, with Prudential Wealth Advisors as headline event partner. For more, see AdvizorPro's look at women advisors.
