How Distribution Teams Are Using AdvizorPro's MCP Integration to Move Faster
The teams pulling ahead right now have figured out how to find better opportunities and walk into every meeting fully prepared, without spending hours getting there. AdvizorPro's MCP integration connects our wealth channel intelligence directly to ChatGPT, Claude, and your CRM's AI so pre-call research, prospecting, and outreach take one prompt instead of actions across multiple platforms.
If you're new to AdvizorPro's MCP integration, start here. This post is about putting it to work.
Less research time. More pipeline from the same book. Better first conversations.
Pre-call prep that used to take 20 minutes across five tabs now takes one prompt. Whitespace you didn't have time to work becomes a prioritized, ready-to-call list on demand. Outreach that references an RIA or wealth team’s AUM, platforms, and priorities gets more responses than a generic template.
Five Workflows to Start With
- Prospecting: Build targeted lists from AdvizorPro, filtered against your CRM
- Pre-call research: AdvizorPro profile + CRM history + inbox in one brief
- Outreach drafting: Emails personalized with real firmographic data
- Pipeline management: Surface stalled deals enriched with current AdvizorPro data
- Website visitor follow-up: Identify and engage high-fit RIAs already showing interest via TrafficIQ
What the Prompts Look Like
With MCP, you describe what you want instead of which tool to open or how to get the data. The AI handles that.
Prospecting
Search AdvizorPro for independent RIA firms with $250M+ AUM in the Southeast. Exclude any firms already in Salesforce as an account. Return firm name, firm or team AUM, state, rep count, and primary contact.
A filtered, CRM-deduplicated prospect list. No export, no spreadsheet, no manual cross-referencing.
Pre-call research
I have a call tomorrow with [Firm Name]. Pull their AdvizorPro profile: AUM, firm type, rep count. Check Salesforce for any prior activity or notes. Search Gmail for email history in the last 6 months and summarize what was discussed.
A complete brief before the meeting. You walk in knowing the firm's size, your relationship history, and where the conversation left off.
Outreach drafting
Pull the AdvizorPro profile for [Firm Name]: AUM, firm type, advisor count. Draft a personalized cold outreach email introducing our interval fund. Make it specific to their firm size and keep it under 150 words.
An email built around something real about the firm, not a generic template.
Pipeline management
Show me all open Salesforce opportunities in Proposal or Due Diligence stage with no activity in 30+ days. For each, pull their current AdvizorPro profile: AUM, firm type, rep count, and check Gmail for any recent email. Flag accounts with no recent contact, note any significant firm changes since we last engaged, and draft a short check-in message for each.
Stalled deals with current firm context attached. If something changed at the firm since your last touchpoint, AUM growth, new reps, a registration change, that's a natural reason to reach back out.
Website visitor follow-up
Pull my recent RIA website visitors from AdvizorPro. For any firm that's visited more than twice in the last 30 days, check Salesforce to see if there's an open opportunity or prior contact. Flag the ones we haven't engaged with and draft a short outreach email for each.
Firms already showing interest, matched against your CRM, with a draft ready to send before they go cold.
How to Build a Prompt Library for Your Team
The teams that get the most consistent value from this don't write a new prompt every time. They build a shared library, organized by workflow, tested, ready to copy. One good prompt shared across a team of ten is a significant force multiplier.
A few things that make it work:
Describe the outcome, not the steps. "Give me a brief on this firm" works better than "go to AdvizorPro, then check Salesforce, then..." The AI handles the routing.
Use brackets for variables. Replace firm or advisor names with [Firm Name] so every prompt works for the whole team, not just the person who wrote it.
Organize by workflow. Group prompts by prospecting, research, outreach, and pipeline management. People look for prompts based on what they're trying to do, not who wrote them.
Keep it somewhere shared and add to it. A prompt library only compounds if the team can find it and contribute to it. Put it in a shared doc and build the habit of adding prompts that work.
Start with your most repetitive research task. Pre-call prep is usually the fastest win. Write one prompt, run it before your next few meetings, and refine from there.
