Binance, Crypto and Traditional Finance: What AdvizorPro's Co-Founder Said About the RIA Market

AdvizorPro co-founder Hesom Parhizkar was featured in September 2026 in The Daily Upside, later syndicated by Yahoo Finance, commenting on Binance's move into traditional finance.

Binance Expands Into US Stocks and ETFs

According to The Daily Upside, Binance began offering direct access to options on more than 1,000 US stocks and ETFs in early September 2026. The offering is currently available only to international customers. The article calls it the latest effort by a major crypto operation to enter traditional finance, and says it signals Binance's goal of presenting itself as more than a crypto marketplace.

What AdvizorPro's Co-Founder Said

Parhizkar told The Daily Upside, "Binance increasingly wants to be viewed as a full investment platform." He added, "Crypto remains a relatively small pool of assets compared with the enormous traditional wealth management and RIA markets," so adding stocks and ETFs gives Binance access to a much larger opportunity.

He said crypto exchanges already offer account opening, trading, mobile interfaces and real-time trade monitoring, creating an experience "more modern than what investors encounter at traditional custodians." In his words, "The dividing line between crypto and traditional finance is becoming much less meaningful to the end investor."

Vanguard and Altruist

Parhizkar also pointed to Vanguard's acquisition of Altruist. He said he would not say that transaction directly caused Binance's strategy, since Binance began offering US equities before the Vanguard announcement, but that it "reinforces the competitive pressure."
